This artwork is part of the three-piece series "Dead Fairy Tales 1", a composition discussing the disappearance of today's and yesterday's stories such as Cinderella, Pinocchio and Little Red Riding Hood.
It shows Sleeping Beauty resting in her sleep - this time though, she won't be woken up by her prince, as he himself was caught in the thorns that create the lower part of the artwork.
